So I leave in about a month (26 days to be exact) to study in Beijing China for more or less 9 months. Yes, I am very excited, and maybe a little nervous, but who wouldn't be? So I doubt I will update very much until I am actually there, but there maybe a few posts about pre-China fun stuff that may or may not be related to the Olympics in Beijing. Which I am missing by about 10 days. But I will be there for the paralympics, so that will be pretty cool.
At the bottom I am providing a link to my school's web page that has all the wonderful media stuff about me before I leave. For all those who don't know, I was honored last Friday to receive a scholarship from the government of China (PRC) presented to me by Mayor Frank Jackson of Cleveland. And many media releases ensued from a news story on WTAM 1100 just minutes following to being on the 6:00 news on a few different channels to a radio show on Sunday. Oh, and an article in the Plain Dealer the next day, accompanied by a very flattering picture.

Until next time.

I sure hope this works, after 5 attempts at establishing the account, I need a teenager to walk me through this new blogging stuff. I guess I am showing my age, but hay it only took Mark one day to show us how to work the new TV remote, so I am trainable. I am very busy at work because of the hurricane season and the next one is heading right for Texas. Good thing I don't have any beach front homes. I will share this blogg site with Lauren and Matthew so they can keep up with you and this great adventure. Do try to stay outta jail, what will I tell your grandmother LOL Uncle Steve
